My hubs worked with the fellas over at Beadle & Grimm’s on their new Pathfinder 2E Kickstarter project, and while we’ve not yet run a game in 2E you can be sure we’re going to do so now! The project was funded in under 15 minutes, and they have a lot of cool customized dice, bags, and books for the main classes, with some mystery classes that might be released if the stretch goals are met!
The Kickstarter includes:
- Standard editions Pathfinder-based tomes with vegan leather covers, embossed foil cover designs, ribbon bookmarks, and elastic book clasps. It also has heavy paper and lay-flat binding, as well as class-only-specific spells and abilities.
- The collectors’ edition includes a custom cover with artwork and a matching slipcase.
- There are fun things like in-depth character sheets, spell illustrations, a character death certificate and a lot of room to write details about the adventure.
- Some of the tiers come with a Hero Forge mini –I love using the platform to even depict my own writing characters.
- Some of the tiers also come with a leather book carrying case which I must admit I’m kind of in love with–might even use it for our medieval reenactment trips…who knows?
If you’re not familiar with Beadle and Grimm, the group includes the likes of actor Matt Lillard. They make high-end customized box sets and accessories for D&D 5E adventures including things like colorful and detailed battle maps, collectors’ edition books that break down the modules of premade adventures into individual, easy to read books, game-specific currency or coins, pins, monster stuffed animals, imitative bean bags, custom DM screens, shirts, and just about EVERYTHING ELSE.
Anyway, you’ve got 30 days left to pledge if you want some fun accessories for the game! I’m obviously partial to the project, but I’m also a D&D nerd so…I had to share.
