BLACK LIVES MATTER.
VOTE. BE REPRESENTED.
Please look up and VOTE in the elections of your congress members both the House of Representatives and especially the Senate–not just the president. But, for the love of all that’s holy, please vote for that too. It’s plain there were far better options than we’re given, and our system is f*cked, but voting T***P out is paramount.
Also, I know looking up judge decision records is difficult, but we need to vote for them too when possible. Well, state courts, anyway – federal judges are recommended by Congress and approved by the president. You want to choose who does the choosing.
Here’s YelloPain on why your vote matters and how the system works, generally, all in under 4 minutes.
I am not black, and therefore my voice is not one that needs to be heard on this. Here are just a fraction of the tweets I saw in the last few weeks on #blacklivesmatter that I’d like to share. Arrest the officers who shot #BreonnaTaylor.
